  The New BMW car above is an example of what to expect when having a full Protection Detail. The car had only 14 miles on the clock. Normal multi-stage wash procedure including co-polymer removal to take off any transport wax still present on new cars. Claying stages revealed some quite heavy contamination believe it or not. Probably from the car sitting around for a little while at the manufacturers storage site. Pictures above show Snow foam pre-soak. And right picture shows clay before use. Notice how dirty the clay in the pictures below is. This was from the bonnet and roof area after claying procedure. I know it is hard to believe on a car with only 14 miles on the clock. But unless this is removed first there really is no point in sealing up the paint.   After claying the car, it is then cleaned again with Tardis solvent and a mix of strong TFR to make absolutely sure the surface is perfect. The paint is then cleaned and prepared even further with a paintwork cleanser applied via orbital machine polisher.   In the picture below to the right the glass is protected with Gtechniq G1 30,000 mile or two year sealant that beads off water just the same as the bodywork beads a wax. Before this is added, the glass is meticulously cleaned and prepared beforehand with a mixture of strong solvents.   Again the same system is applied to the cars trim areas (rubber and plastic areas) with Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer. The wheels are cleaned and sealed with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. The wheel armour allows for easier cleaning and vital protection.   The paintwork is protected with Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer which adds a hard wearing extra coating that actually bonds with the paint system to form a hard crystalline coat. The coating offers long term protection, including easy clean, anti-scratch properties, uv protection, self clean properties, hydrophobic properties that sheet water and dirt repellent properties.   The interior is cleaned with Gtechniq multi-purpose cleaner in readiness for protection.   Leather Guard is added to prevent dye transfer from clothing as well as dirt repellent properties. Smart Fabric protects all carpets and cloth seats from water, dirt and other liquids. Liquids simply sit on the top rather than soak through the material.   Picture above shows products being applied to trim. And the last four pictures show some finished shots once all treated.
